This tool detects and informs the user in a simple way how many physical, and virtual CPUs are available in the backup environment.
CPU2TSM, is a product that facilitates the inventory of licenses by providing an updated view of the installed CPU environment. CPU2TSM, is a PVU reporting tool. The CPU Counter provides simple information on how many physical CPUs there are in your environment. You can also view the number of virtual CPUs in your network and number of cores and threads. If you are a Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) user, you can use this tool to list your servers with ease and see how many PVUs you actually need before your next round of procurements.
Policies
The first year support contract is included in the purchase price. In subsequent years,
support contracts are 20% of the current list price for the license. This fee should be
paid in advance on the anniversary of the original purchase.
